Skills to grow your career, your confidence and your ideas
Empowering entrepreneurs at every stage
UNSW Founders is UNSW's entrepreneurship program, on a mission to embed entrepreneurship on campus. It supports students, staff, researchers and alumni from first spark of curiosity through to building and scaling a company.
Its programs include free 1:1 coaching, the New Wave women's entrepreneurship program, the Peter Farrell Cup pitch competition and the 10x Accelerator, alongside a makerspace for building and prototyping ideas.

Your LinkedIn Profile
You have valuable technical skills and experience, but does your LinkedIn profile communicate them clearly?
This practical, beginner-friendly workshop will help technical staff create or improve a LinkedIn profile that reflects their expertise, achievements and career interests. We'll explore how to describe the work you do, highlight projects and transferable skills, and present your experience confidently without overselling yourself.
Whether you are setting up LinkedIn for the first time, updating an existing profile or preparing for your next career move, you'll leave with practical improvements you can make straight away.
3D Modelling for 3D Printing & Printer Maintenance
Thinking of purchasing a 3D printer? Learn basic 3D modelling so you can create your own files to print, plus basic 3D printer maintenance to keep it running well.
Communicating with Confidence
Designed for technical staff, this practical and supportive workshop will help you communicate your skills, knowledge and ideas with greater confidence.
Led by the Founders, the session is particularly suited to people who may be more comfortable working behind the scenes but occasionally need to lead an induction, speak to a group, explain a complex process or present their work.
