TechNet UNSW is a community of Technical and Professional staff within UNSW. Founded in 1999, through various generations of staff members, TechNet UNSW strives to provide workshops and classes for upskilling and professional development for the wider UNSW staff community.

Now with roughly 500 members within UNSW, our community has grown exponentially across, primarily but not limited to, the Science, Engineering and Medicine Faculties.

Since 2023, TechNet UNSW has organised dozens of workshops, and upcycled over $30,000 of lab equipment in the biannual Lab Swaps - Our team is excited to be able to host TechNet Conference 2026!
